Our worlds have always been connected and our magic lays both in our sleep and in our wake. We are visited by spirits. We teleport through the night. Our bodies are more than what it seems. We transform by day & night and the space inbetween & beyond. Our ancestors sing songs to us in liminal space, humming to the frequency of our hearts. They cast spells so that we may reach the dreams they dreamed that we dream into existence. Cedar, Jasmine, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Ylang-Ylang, Champa offerings into the sky. Into the soil , into the bones dried to dust it burns into messages marked by mother tongue our stories exist in a space that does not know the definition of fiction , myth or lore.
